We are proud to introduce our new WMD2 line of subwoofers. We have put extensive research and development in them and they are ready to take the competition by storm! Made to handle the power that todays multi-kilowatt amps create and turn it into heart stopping SPL levels! This is possible because of our triple cooling technology. Direct voice coil venting, venturi radius pole venting, and under spider venting all combine to keep the large three inch voice coil cool. More air is pushed away from the voice coil as excursion, and power, is increased. They handle our 1,500 watt rms power handling rating and more.
The WMD2 powerful 55 pound triple stack motor employ many industry leading features standard, no need to option them in at extra cost with PAP. We used a forged one piece t-yoke with a venturi radiused pole vent and direct voice coil venting machined into the 1 inch thick back plate to dissipate heat. A 1 inch thick front plate tops off the triple stack of ferrite slugs.
Taking the power from the motor and turning it into clean unadulterated SPL is the composite CF cones with high roll surrounds. Our carbon fiber front/presses paper back cones are ultra stiff and light. And the high roll surround has high excursion and greatly increase cone area. We also stitched the tinsel leads into the spiders to prevent cone slap at high excursion.
As you can see we have taken all our efforts and put them into making one of the most potent subwoofers ever made, and we kept the price at a fraction of what you would expect too.
